I caught a mouse sneaking into my house the other day.
So, let's break it down!
It just peered at me then wandered off, right past me.
It didn't look afraid. If anything it seemed embarrassed about the whole thing.
These are the basic troops for Panoceania, also known as "the blue faction". They are known for being every so high-tech, and extremely blue.
I'm using Angel Giraldez's (the studio painter for Infinity) recipes, in an attempt to learn something. Specifically he makes very heavy use of his airbrush, so this will force me to learn some precision.
In this case I'm reasonably happy with some of my airbrush work. As always happens when I use non-airbrush paints, I had a lot of clogging, sputtering, etc. So what should have been some quite fine, nicely placed highlights spattered over a bit and left things looking a bit bleached out. I'll just have to glaze the colour back in with judicious use of regular brushes.
Frankly I was impressed with its sangfroid, but I'd still rather it hadn't chosen my house to hang about in.
I used airbrush paints for these and the results are better. The softer lines of the armour demand less in terms of precise highlights, though, so the good work on these is less evident than the bad work on the previous ones!
Now... back to work.
